Your thoughts on this pokemon? Will we ever see this typing again. What will the Fire/Grass pokemon be and will it be legendary/mythical or regular pokemon the Lombre line?

We were supposed to get a proper Water/Fire type in Gen 2 (Bomseel) but those lazy hacks had to cut it for whatever stupid reason

A Fire/Water evolution for Torkoal could work,gets like 3 times its size

I think this guy could've been the first non-leg Water/Fire.
It's based off a the pistol shrimp that makes a bubble to stun stun enemies, so it's not strictly Fire but I thought it was an opportunity.

By far the worst pokemon design. Looks like it's cobbled together from spare parts of reject yugioh monsters. Only upside to its design is it sets the bar so low most other terrible pokemon look a little better.
Tonnes of potential for a water/fire type though. Whole ecosystems of hydrothermal vent creatures would be great for that typing, maybe particularly tube worms? Or maybe something to do with how super polluted water bodies can catch fire, which would learn a lot of poison moves too. Or something based on firefighting, a dalmatian maybe.

Blacephalon would have made a good first Fire/Grass Pokémon. Fire/Ghost works too, and makes just as much sense at least, but the unique typing was kind of a missed opportunity. I’m not sure what else they could come up with that would fit that combo.

Silly owl, mixed attackers are an excellent idea because you could really catch your opponent off guard through an exploding Volcanion, their Chansey will never expect it. Just make sure to have a naive nature so you can reallocate its EVs for physical.
