Unironically Red Chapter. It’s got some tacky stuff, but it has so much content and you can just go on and on playing it. Crystal Clear is amazing, too. Snakewood is a goofy, fun time and I hear cosmic emerald is pretty good.

Phoenix Rising IS actually a good game with interesting features and really good visuals.

They're clearly aping BW.
The backsprites look like 192x192 sprites instead of upscaled 96x96. That's probably why it looks off.

Definitely, it's actually really good and thoroughly challenging near the end, where it should be. That guy with the 6 level 100 Dragonites that immediately refights you with a full other team at the VERY end needs to fuck off, though.

You might like Rejuvenation more than Reborn but I personally don't like either and would never suggest someone I like to play them

Insurgence is awesome in the same way a B-movie is awesome, plus it has a lot of good QoL improvements
