1). Starters are obvious possibilities. Enough said.
2). Keldio, Zoroark and Buginater 9000 all had their own movies.
3). Sawk, Krookadile, Haxxorous, mienshao, Golerk and Bisharp are all at least mildly popular. And they look like they could fight.
4). Zoroark and Mienshao look like they have a similar formula to Lucario: 2 stage evolution, is a reasonably anthropomorphic animal, somewhat ambiguous in femininity/masculinity, and they look angry all the time.
