>>37266624>You mean like Larvitaryea like that
>either it's a canon fact or it isn'tthey don't explain everything
>The thing with NEO is that it's an artificial being made by a Demon Lord Digimon using DigiMemoriesyea... but he made an entire universe, you don't think that's a little silly? that's not the same as Pokemon World people making a souped up Mew clone
>your strawman for Wailord doesn't worknot everything is a strawman, I clearly don't know NEO as a character or his circumstances beyond what was provided, which seemed like a Digimon just digivolved into a whole universe
>the same way looking at Rockruff or Caterpie doing the over the top Z-Moves doesn't work eitherbut they have reason for doing those over the top moves too, which are really just a flashy representation of moves they already do anyways
>Pidgey using Breakneck BlitzBreakneck Blitz is just the generic Normal Type Z Move you can use with any Pokemon with Normal Type moves, so of course the tiny bird could train to the point where it could do that
>As fucking crazy Digimon gets with power levels and lore at at least stays consistent on why that isdo they though? do you just mean because there's loose power levels associated to each stage? I mean I assume not every Digimon of NEO's stage is universe sized so that doesn't scream consistency
>while with Pokemon anything can do crazy stunts because "It's a Monster" apparentlywith some exceptions, sorta, because they're all one big family of creatures for the most part, the basic tenant of Pokemon though is training them to be stronger, so it really isn't that weird that they can learn to use strong moves once per battle if trained well under a strong trainer, anime even implies those are a learning process and even directly uses Rockruff as an example for that
instead of using Rock Throw to throw a rock at the enemy, it uses Continental Crush once per battle to throw a massive rock at opponent, that should make perfect sense to anyone
