Which of the Gen 7 pokemon make it into the Gen 8 regional pokedex?
You could make suggestions for older mons but I'm mostly interested in which Alola mon make the cut.

I'm expecting Bewear, Mimikyu and Lycanroc to be in. Expecting some others will become staples like Krookodile and Lucario. I'd like to see Jangmo-o be available not ridiculously late, but I doubt it'll be in.

Then again, barely anything from gen 6 was in SM, though a lot more of them were in USUM. It felt like most of the USUM dex additions were from gens 5 and 6 which I actually really liked.

It depends on where Gen 8 takes place.
I’d exclude all the tropical ones and the Alola forms.

Yungoos and Gumshoose might be there, since they’re said to come from another region.

Rockruff, Mudbray, Dewpider, Stufful, Salandit and Shiinotic lines are the most generic ones, so they can make the cut.

Ant Mimikyu. Because is popular.

Zubats, tentacools, geodudes, and wingulls everywhere, because GF doesn't know how to make games without shoving these fucking things in every crevice of the map. Even in the one set of games where they didn't have any returning pokemon, they still just did the exact same shit with rehash mons instead.
