No you can't; you can't change the nature of wild spawns. Unless you mean in VC, but that's because they don't have original natures.

As a ball autist, I've been wondering why they haven't let us do this simple thing.
It's not even much work for them. It's just like using an item on a pokemon, except you use a ball of your choice instead. They can even prevent us from changing them out of Cherish balls if they want, I don't care.

I don't get paid more at work for going above and beyond so I just do what's asked of me, no more and no less. No reason to assume GF doesn't also feel the same.

Hello, /vp/, a friend gave me Ultra Sun for a Christmas gift. I picked Rowlet, and caught a long weasel, a red woodpecker?, and a Caterpie. This is the first pokemon game I have ever played. How bad did I fuck up? Any kinds of advice would be greatly appreciated, there is no wrong advice, since I am just getting started and have no idea what I am doing.

Nothing wrong with cherish balls, but GF doesn't allow you to trade pokemon in cherish balls through the GTS, so even if they allowed you to switch between balls, they wouldn't let you with those already in cherish balls.

IVs actually matter whereas ball is 100% purely aesthetic. Not having the right IVs is the difference between outspeeding your opponent for the KO, or not hitting the necessary 404 HP to be able to sub up against blissey and other seismic toss users
