>>37271518>>37271528I'm of the opinion that zodiac is bullshit and people are shoehorning meaning to stuff that doesn't have any, and you can see it like with calling echidnas rats and foxes dogs.
HOWEVER, I do think that there's a possibility that the zodiac meme has gotten prominent enough that it could become a self-fulfilling prophecy where GF just decide to go with it and make other fire starters based on the zodiac types, and then act like it was always part of their plan.
Also reminder that Charizard looks nothing like a chinese dragon and Charmander is a Salamander, based on old myths that salamanders are born out of fire because people would put logs containing salamanders in fire, and then as the logs heated up the salamanders would dart out, making people think they popped into existence from the flames.
