About 5 or 6 months ago the Rom for a Prototype Pokemon Gold was released, for years these prototypes have been showered in mystery and speculation even with all of the limited things we had on it. Little did we know it was an entirely different game. Seeing all of those beta Pokemon was so cool and it had me thinking that there has to be more Pokemon who made it into the game at one point but was cut like the majority of the ones in said prototype. I'm not talking about ones who were designed but never implemented like the beta Tirtuga as it never made it into the game. Now Pokemon Red and Blue are actually the most interesting when it comes to beta Pokemon as there were 192 Pokemon programmed into the game (all of the ones containing no pokemon are a slot for missingno and 2 of the other slots are for the fossilized versions of aerodactyl and kabutops) and not to mention that we've got early design's of a few of them and even pictures of ones that were scrapped like Omega who's my absolute favorite unused one! which is why I brought all of this up as it originally took up slot 21 in the code.
