I would lie in bed too terrified to look out the window. Especially on windy nights- seeing the trees moving in the moonlight gave me chills.Often saw things moving around, probably just deer. But kids imagination, you know.
Told my cousin i felt creeped out at night, he said 'of course you do- there are ghosts in there, everyone in the family knows this but keep quiet about it because we dont want to scare you'.
Also said they had extra good vision. So if you looked out the window over the clearing into the trees they could see your face everytime. Even if you peeked just for a second.
He said there was a special spell which stopped them from getting out of the trees and approaching the house. But anytime there was lighting it broke the spell and they could walk right up to the windows. I was like, mind blown of course that makes sense, totally explains why the dogs bark it up during a storm.
Some nights I would like in bed so white with fear I would start to cry. Lol i was such a little faggot.
Any time I go back to visit my parents and stay in my old room that feeling comes right back. I've sat up and looked out the window at night. Never seen anything move other than wind blowing trees around d, but still, it's unnerving. Really creeps me out still.
