If I see a Pokemon that is clearly supposed to be badass and I choose to train it because its badass, youre just fucking me over if its final evo is hyper-cute and soft. Gamefreak intentionally designs first/second evo Pokemon to have a specific feeling and appearance to them - anyone who trains them or likes that Pokemon likes it for the traits it was designed to have - and then they change the very nature of the Pokemon's design.
