HGSS were *very* good games that gave players a fuck load of content, and gave generation 4 players access to johtomons to finish off their collection via migration.
THEN gen 5 came along and added a new transfer system that required 2 consoles. And then gen 6 was on the 3DS, which didn't have a GBA port.
So far, remakes haven't been "rehashes", they've been high quality expansions. And there was a demand for easy access to hoenn pokemon. ORAS may not have been the best game out there, but to assume that people asked for ORAS specifically is retarded.
Now, what would be retarded is asking for a Gen 4 remake after ORAS and seeing the current state of the franchise.
That said, if gen 8 is a divine rebirth then give me a fidget spinner and call me retarded because i want a gen 4 remake too.
