Look at the first month revenue of the game. It was a massive madness, and it will be the same but in a film version

The trailer went viral and so it will be with te movie. People asked and dreamed for a live action movie of the franchise since the begining, and now it's the number 1 franchise of the Planet Earth above Star Wars. Pokemon IS normie nowadays, is part of the pop culture

one thing that might be neat is a movie about a young Professor Oak and his initial pokemon studies.

The time period would be a 1950's-esque, and the setting would span between Kanto and johto, starting out with a young teen Oak as a normal trainer before he starts to ask the questions, find answers, and pursue the mysteries that lead to him becoming a professor.

everyone knows about pokemon and pikachu nowadays, even people from underdeveloped countries or your 61yo maths teacher with depression. Everyone will go to the cinema to watch this, it's almost historical event. Kids will go, casual players will go, veteran fans like us will go, even people who don't give a fuck about Pokemon but like cinema in general will go just for curiosity

Search and Rescue movie.
