Let's Go is just a fucking side series, like New Super Mario Bros.

Regardless of sales, it'll exist alongside the current series, not replace it.

And it's impossible for a mainline Pokemon game to sell badly.

Which it is. Just like New Super Mario Bros. are mainline Mario games. But there are also other mainline Mario games alongside it.
