Yeah, even though it was originally an arcade game, and arcade games in Japan like Gundam usually have no less than 40~50 characters.
and it was too expensive the initial release of Pokken was a flop in Japan.

As long as TPC stresses every company to make a game that panders to Pikachu, Eevee and Charizard and few other Gen1 Pokemon, game developers won't have much freedom working on any game.

That's why all of the Pikachu's spin offs are shit
