Exactly the opposite of how the NHS works. You don't even need to have a form of income to get treatment; you're describing american health insurance.

You don't pay for your specific healthcare when you're in employment here if thats what you're getting at? We pay scaling tax and national insurance contributions based on our income the same as every other western country and then minor amounts - less than £10 - for prescription medication if you aren't exempt for payment.
Idk if this was supposed to just be a Hurr hurr the nhs is shit throwaway post or not but its still preferable to writing a blank cheque every time you have to go to a hospital. If some asshole hits me with their car its not going to cost me tens of thousands that I have to sue the other person to reclaim part of.

is this guy was american, a trained sniper would catch him off guard in his knee.
while he's on the ground the cops woul rush and subdue him, handcuffing him and then giving him their gun
