/vp/ i'm driving myself fucking nuts trying to figure out how a non-linear game would work
- Gyms scale based on number of gym badges (workable scope)
- Story events aren't scaled but trigger at certain amounts of badges every time
- Still have HMs/pokeride/some sort of exploration gate, some areas can have the same encounters/trainers every time because e.g. they need surf which is always after the 4th gym
How the fuck do you handle the rest of it though? You could just scale wild pokemon with a flat number after each gym but route trainers need a lot more attention and care so their teams are fair and their movesets arent shit or too good, how the fuck vp
