An actual trailer for Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution drops in March. Likewise, the dubbed version will be unveiled at the same time, revealing they're planning on having a near-simultaneous release of the film.
Starters and Box Legends get revealed in April.
Detective Pikachu arrives in May, and includes a teaser for Gen 8.
E3 is where the first of many news bombs happens for Gen 8.
July gives us Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, which'll have a special tie-in with GO in order to "experience" the new form(s) early.
After that, they'll start pouring out news nonstop until they've spoiled the game before anyone even touches it.
The game itself finally releases the week before Black Friday, as per usual.
All of this, of course, doesn't factor in leaks that could come from virtually anywhere at anytime.
