Gen V was the last time I restarted my game several times so I can go through it again with different mons. I hope the next game has 120+ new Pokemon and plenty to do with them.

Then literally just do it, nigga. All I knew going into SM in 2016 was that the games were called Sun and Moon, and the first forms of the starters and their names. I didn't know the setting, the characters, the graphics, any of the music, the plot, the postgame, anything. Same was true with XY. In both cases, the first playthroughs were blasts and I was constantly surprised.

Once you get the starter trailer and the game's release date, literally just leave /vp/ and all Pokémon sites and do something else. Nobody other than you is forcing you to have the games spoiled by Game Freak and/or commies.

Dude, there was an election going on in 2016 that ended less than 2 weeks before the SM release. I was doing other stuff so I didn't have to worry about SM getting spoiled.
