>>37318716I'm currently spending the next 2000 hours or so of my bored time redoing the entire Experience and BST of all Pokémon to align their overall power according to align with where/how they're found in-game and how difficult it is to evolve them/at what point in the game you can evolve them.
While also keeping them as close as I can to the Game Freak stats in theme. If Speed is higher than Defense on something, it should remain higher than Defense in the revised stats, for example, but it ALSO should say, still be higher than other Pokémon in similar roles. So Sceptile for example needs to have Speed as it's focus but also still be a bit faster than Infernape since they're both starters and I'm keeping their stat layouts in line with each other as they are now.
I'm also raising the BST of the starters to early 90 on average when fully evolved to keep in line with them being the face of the generation while changing their evolution levels to more like 30 and 60 because you shouldn't have a middle evo before around the 4th "Gym" and you shouldn't have a fully evolved one until you're about to head into the League.
Furthermore, to make Experience more realistic while also keeping the very early game simple to get the gist of and Level 100 to not be completely useless, the bulk of Experience will be earned between Levels 10 and 60 in this new system.
When you learn, it's easy enough to pick up, but hard to get good at and eventually you reach a plateau where picking up related topics is not necessarily easy but not increasingly hard, therefore the ever increasing Experience needed in games to level up makes zero sense so I'm throwing it out for a better one.
All of which will lead to me finally making my own fan game once I've put in the work they're too lazy and retarded to do.
I can complain about official games and STILL be autistically productive, retard.
