Pokemon is already perfect as it is as a universe, games simply need more polishing (like a real scaled 3D world so your adventure can feel like a real journey).
But instead, GF takes the "change for the sake of change" approach and keeps adding weird useless crap like Mega-Evos, Z-moves, Trials, Ultra Beasts...etc
