So I'm playing this for the first time and got a pretty nice set up. I'm using Chimchar as my main and Riolu as my partner. I'm going to cheat to evolve chimchar at its normal levels and Riolu when I get infernape,

Any tips ? Any other pokemon viable as starters that are not listed? I tried gastly but he got hungry so quickly.
