It's a long shot, but I figured I'd ask.

A long time ago, I was a member of the original general pokemon threads that eventually became this board. During that time, I put tons of time into Pokemon Platinum, which is still my favorite in the series. Back then we had to use lots of sendpkmn and pokesav to get things that were otherwise impossible to get. I ended up getting a pokemon without a trainer ID on my save file. It was fine for a long time, but eventually it seemed to have broken my save. Years later, now when I press continue there's just a black screen and the game completely locks up.

Is there any hope to revive my save file? I loved that game and put so much time into it; I get sad sometimes when I remember it.
