The fact of the matter is is that sunshine has way more actual platforming elements in it's stages and said stages are designed in such a way to where more creative platforming pathways around each level is possible: To wit, bomb-omb battlefield and Bianco hills are both a path to a vertical structure and then a spiral path up, it, but Bomb-omb battlefield has basically no platforming stuff outside of the main path wheras Biacno hills has a whole town, a series of ponds around a forest, and a series of ropes and poles on the lake, and all 3 sections + the tower you spiral around all can be platformed across and between.
