branch evos for starters might be interesting. would kinda like to see mons get more than one possible mega evolution again, like a charizard/mewtwo situation.
i'd kinda like to see regional variations of old starters be the starters for a new region -- but the twist being that instead of say being alolan bulbasaur/squirtle/charmander or whatever, the starters would be mix-and-match from previous gens. something like regional variant rowlett, charmander and froakie
