What's even "pseudo" about pseudo-legendaries now? Looking at the Pokedex placement and statwise they're indistinguishable from regular legendaries now, especially Dragonite and Tyranitar.

The distinction has always been flimsy and GF never formally defined the terms pesudo and legendaries to my knowledge, they just made a list of mons and called it "legendaries" without explaining themselves.

All we can do, then, is observe the differences that remain as of now and try to agree on what makes a pseudo not a legendary.

Personally, I'd say, pseudos are freely catchable in the wild, aren't unique or even close to unique "diegeticly" to the point where it's not that rare to have random npc's use them, they usually have no relation to actual important lore and/or story beats, you know, legends, and they're breedable (even though phione breaks the mold here).

There are three groups in game code:
>mythicals
>legendaries allowed in battle facilities
>legendaries unallowed in battle facilities
these are represented by colored background in summary

Except for that there are many other traits shared by most of the legendaries, like:
>don't breed (except for Manaphy and Phione)
>have no gender (except for Latias, Latios, Cresselia, genies and Heatran)
>don't evolve (except for Cosmog, Type: Null and Poipole's lines)
>are unobtainable in more quantity in-game
>make trios/quartets etc.
>have lore
>guaranteed 3 perfect IVs

Pseudolegendaries is a term invented by fans. They have no reason to be considered legendary except for having 600 base stats.
