* multiple save files per game (finally!)
* stereo sound
* increased resolution when playing on a TV
* Regional PokéDex bare minimum
* Poké Bank and Pokémon GO compatibility
* able to trade between multiple Gen 8 games
* friend-lists and local wifi tournament settings
* game in full color
* release date before Christmas 2019
* Gen 8 will have different difficulty than Let's Go
* Some previous Gen Pokémon will be catchable in Gen 8
* at least two different versions released at launch
* ability to choose the name of your character AND rival, as well as your Pokémon; Pokémon name's can be changed at least twice
* up to full-motion video included
