>>37333965No, it wasn't. The 3DS could've theoretically had an all region game with no issue. Except the developers (and before you try and side track shit, no I'm not saying they should have just that it could have meaning the limit is not the system).
Primarily the fact that they're not that good to begin with - they took 6 year to develop a game boy game - and are now working in HD even on the 3DS which wasn't meant to handle it as a competent dev would've known and put a kibosh on and rushing out yearly shit.
When they take their time they can do something decent as seen by Gens 1 - 4, two of which not only took 3+ years but got delayed to give them time to do it better.
