Reboot the anime.
Do you go with the games as inspo or something else? What kind of feel would you go for? Important characters, plot, etc.

Stick with adapting the games plot BUT make it more mature and dark, focus on all audiences and not just/mostly on children

Are you 16 or what? I would admit that I don‘t wanna ‚everyone is nice and helps everyone‘ but that‘s it. Also add nice battles.
Pokemon is for kids and it should be like that.
