I love the design of Aurorus, and it put in a lot of work for me when I played through X, but the typing is the worst defensive typing in the game. It's one of my favorite Pokemon, but unfortunately sucks dick.

I like them all but they are kind of low effort, at least compared to other fossil and dino pokemon. They're all just kind of draw a sauropod then slap a thing on it.

It’s more so that it has two of the worst defensive typings, compounded by its slow speed, making it

>4x weak to fighting and steel
>2x weak to water, grass, ground, and rock
>weak to stealth rock

It should be great considering it’s one of few mons to have complete resistance to bolt beam, but the other weaknesses are just too much.

Will we ever get 3 Fossils mons in a Gen again? Kinda weird they only went with that in Gen 1 with Kabuto, Omanyte and Aerodactyl, and im not counting Relicanth as a Fossil mon for Gen 3.
