New gen's pre release seasons are always the best on /vp/. SM's was the last good one even knowing it could be shit and the 2 prior games sucked. There was zero build up to USUM because it was basically third versions and LG was a remake and tried to build excitement off of a mobile game. This time we have new starters, a new region, new legendaries, new waifus. The clock has basically reset.

No, they claim the changes are 'botw tier.' All this means is that it will have a lot of bloated, meaningless content and very little focus on the series's fundamental traits, like botw's mediocre puzzles and combat.
