This being said, they did hire people to work with unreal engine and shit a couple years back when they started the project so we could excpect something decent looking at least.
That being said, nobody said the gameplay will be good.

Didn't they take out a ton of stuff out like abilities and held items? Don't get me wrong, some of the things they added we're pretty good, but if a remake that came out in 2018 managed to have less content than a remake that came out in the early 2000s then I'm really worried about future mainline games
