If you ignore egg groups for a moment its nearly arbitrary which pokemon can and can't breed with each other.But we aren't ignoring Egg Groups, and I wasn't comparing them specifically to species classification, just how someone used a certain wording to legitimize the theory of humans breeding with Pokémon and how that can't be taken as proof by itself. If you're hung up on Pokémon examples though, I'll just reword it.
