>>37352511It's almost like none of Alola's cast have any notable traits or draws because the cast is fucking bloated and no one gets any proper development time except Lillie, but her arc came and went AGES ago and was just a retread of the games' story, anyway, but they're too far in to worry about character development when they need to try and prep for the Alola League since Gen 8 is closer than ever.
I'm not saying Serena had any stellar development or arcs either, but the comparatively huge main cast and constant supporting cast really left them with no time to give anyone except Ash and Lillie the spotlight, they're even trying to slap the LGPE advertising and soon Oceanic Operetta on Lana to make her relevant.
