people don't even do parodies like these anymore since web animations like these got kicked off by YouTube algorithm changes. All of the ones that do the terrible stuff OP mentioned are just products of their time.

No it doesn't. Realistically Pokemon take the place of firearms, making them totally useless. Sure, you could shoot the other guy before they can get their Pokemon out, but you can also just have a shouldermon that fulfills the same purpose.
