I have it.
Bought a cartridge with it at fair in my country's bumfuck land when I was a little kid and didn't know any better.

It's functional, but barely.
It's Fire Red but with pokemon sprites replaced with fakemons. Most of them any way. Butterfree was still the same despite Caterpie and Metapod being replaced.
The fakemon are terrible. Their sprites are poorly made. Some don't even have back sprites.
None of them besides the starters have party menu sprites.
I got as far as Mt. Moon and never touched it again.

Holy shit, I just busted out the old cartridge and found out why I never got past Mt. Moon.

You literally can't. The passage is blocked. The game is unbeatable without gameshark.

Even the fakemons are shit. I know that's a given but they couldn't even do full lines. For example, this is Not-Pidgeotto and it just outright evolves into a normal Pidgeot

The hack couldn't really handle backsprites properly. Sometimes the fakemon's backsprites would show "fine" but if you checked a menu you'd see something like this.
I threw on a few cheats to get through the game, mostly to get rare candies and walk through walls.

The guy had zero concept of proper level design. Mt Moon was also unaltered aside from the game ending body of water.

Last pic, probably goes without saying that this is Not-Mewtwo.
The fact it exists honestly baffles me. It really does feel like some project some random kid did after soccer practice. Almost nothing after Mt Moon is changed, theres only maybe 15-20 pokemon that were turned into fakemons, the route design's a disaster, and none of the text is changed.
Shitty as Quartz is, you can tell there was effort put into it. Maybe not a lot of effort, a lot of shit, but the guy went all out with making fakemons

In all honesty I don't think the character vs sprite is that bad, though he may have just ripped it from somewhere or something. It's not great but a little polishing would help it. Also I'm kinda digging the design on "Mewtrance" though the relation to Mewtwo is fucking stupid. Just the concept of some kind of floating object with floating limbs is cool to me.
