I fucking hate Cyndaquil, it and all its evolutions have such shit designs, they're just sausages with no features. I'm not saying it should be like the over designed ones we got these gens, but at least give it something. Feraligatr and Meganium are at least interesting visually, whereas Typhlosion is like when you grab Play-Doh and roll it between your hands. That's it, there you go, that's Typhlosion. He's a fucking eclair.

maybe but it can also occur because of over saturation, that why I prefer to avoid Pikachu. And people do it just so they can say they are different. Human Nature. Lucky for me I played and own Pokemon Yellow at release so I liked the 'Chu then, and I am not touching Let's Go.

Over half the marketing resources are invested in Pikachu alone, denying most of the other Pokemon any exposure at all. Hundreds of Pokemon don't get anything at all for years after their release or even in their debut generation due to how uneven the distribution is. It gets to the point where it feels like GF and/or Nintendo are forcing us to have Pikachu as our favorite.
