To this day, I still remember back in 2007 when my father first saw this thing in my D/P Guidebook, he said and I quote "Welp, looks like they officially ran out of ideas". I was convinced Gamefreak had hit rock bottom in terms of Poke designs in Gen 4, but thank God pic related was there to help pick up the slack.
