Design-wise, I'd probably say Scizor, although I feel like Scyther is a more intimidating design and it's odd for the evolution of a pokemon to end up being less intimidating.
That being said Escavalier is a complete mystery design-wise. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking with it and the thing Shelmet evolves into. Those two lines just seem way too random. Why is Shelmet a knight? What about Karrablast translates to Accelagor's design? Why does Escavalier have candy cane lances?
I like the idea for an armored snail pokemon, but the only thing about Escavalier that's reminiscent of a snail is the curly shell that it's sitting in upside-down floating in for some reason.

IIRC they're based on the predatory behavior of a beetle that eats snails and then takes the shells for themselves. Shelmet suddenly becomes a tube/bag worm upon evolving though, so you got me there.
IMO they're both cool designs with a neat concept for evolving.

Accelagor is more or less fine as a design, but like you said, it just sorta becomes a bagworm out of nowhere and doesn't get anything from Karrablast's design (which doesn't really have anything to take), despite needing to be traded with one. I guess it loses its shell, but still, it feels like it comes out of nowhere like a lot of Escavalier's qurks.

I used to use a set that had entry hazards + explosion, and he held a quick claw, so that when he was about to die, he would often explode or get an extra layer of hazards before he opponent could kill him, and the salt was delicious.

Porygon2. Mono normal surprisingly can be decently defensively as it only has one weakness, and Fighting can be resited by a ton of viable Flying, Ghost, or Fairy types. Pory is also a bit stronger and has usuable abilities to back up its BoltBeam or Tri Attack coverage. Dusclops is v weak and can’t stomach Knock Offs or strong Dark Pulses / Shadow Balls. While both are really bulky, the biggest difference is that Pory has Recover, and Dusc is stuck with a shitty Pain Split. Ultimately, it is this factor alone why you don’t see Dusclops intrinsically being better or at a higher teir.
