I have no idea honestly. Don't get me wrong HGSS/Platinum are amazing and BW2 is definitely equal to them, not entirely better, but gen 5 as a whole is just so refreshing and fun.

GameFreak's developers were so occupied with actually making the game that they couldn't revise it to take out difficulty and gut 'mons for their poor sense of balance.
The DS environments just flat out look better than the 3DS games; sprite based Pokemon is comfy.

I mean holy fuck, a few weeks back there was an anon who said "for every new feature they added, they cut four others", and he was dared to prove it, and given a list of 7 additions.

The fucking madman actually listed 28 different things that were removed from gen 4 to gen 5, it was amazing, I wish I had saved it.

honestly my only issue with BW2 is that Pokemon in the regional pokedex are post game like Glaceon,leafeon,yanma,croagunk,tyranitar etc etc
how flawed the key system is (but challenge mode is worth it to some extent)
and the forced movie place tutorial

Not its Pokemon, that's for sure. The reason the gens after it only get less than a hundred Pokemon is because they got burned by this turd of a Pokedex. Turns out burdening themselves with 150 of the most unmarketable Pokemon in any and all future endeavors isn't such a smart idea.
