ORAS was disappointing but I loved soaring. I hope it comes back in future games as a replacement for flying that you can do with many different kinds of Pokemon rather than just Latios/Latias, but it probably won't.

Let me go ahead and share my taste first so you guys are free to criticize me when I ask this question. BW/BW2 are my favs but you have to play BW first for this full awesome experience between the two.

I absolutely loved ORAS, despite thinking that GF could have done it even better. They could have put a bit more of details on it, like allowing gym rematches, enhance the battle island to be more like frontier, and allow you to battle your rival more times. Also, the music was majestic, almost all the themes were definitely improved from RSE
9/10, will play it again

I think people overlook just how better ORAS felt to play compared to X/Y thanks to the improved movement and better field of view. If you compare the two, X/Y is too zoomed in for no good reason.
