It was replaced with a new, better battle house in Nimbasa City and PWT in Driftveil City because back in my day when Game Freak took away a good feature of a game they usually only did it with a greater replacement.

Game Freak are notorious for doing that throughout the series but in this case they literally just improve and add upon an existing feature to make it objectively better.
