>>37373468The issue is that they're remakes. They could easily make a proper sequel to RBY/Gen 1 moreso than GSC/Gen 2. At least 10 years have passed in universe since the events of RBY, and 7ish since GSC, that's more than enough time for Cinnabar island to be rebuilt, the Safari Zone to be revamped/expanded, Machop guy to finish his building, the Sevii Islands to be expanded, etc. But instead we'll keep getting the same story and region over and over again.
