We've seen this bat creature in a lot of Gen 2 moves' animations (ex. Lovely Kiss), and it isn't a Pokemon yet? Game Freak what.

Subtitute puppet is based on a Rhydon though, these don't have any obvious connection to an existing Pokemon.

It was Rhydon in Gen1 and 2 but they made it a more generic looking thing for Gen III onward. It's still based on a Rhydon and looks remarkably similar.

It is based on Rhydon but now it's just kind of its own thing
Anyway there's really nothing hard to understand here, Sweet Kiss is called Angel Kiss in jap and in fact it summons an angel, Lovely Kiss is called Demon's Kiss and indeed it summons a lil devil

the change is entirely the fault off Christian heavy western markets. Demons and angels are associated almost entirely with Religion in the west whereas demons in japanese folklore can be simple tricksters.
There was already enough opposition to a series focused on evolution without a move called Demon's Kiss being in the game.
