Here's the thing though, Game Freak are entirely at the mercy of Nintendo when it comes to revealing stuff - Nintendo doesn't like talking about stuff until it's about 6 months off from release (not to mention, they keep things tight-lipped at the best of times during development cycles too). Game Freak will only be able to show off substantial info, when Nintendo are ready to let them talk about it. If anything, this is pointing to a later reveal, so there's not as long a wait time before they're able to dump the next bloc of info.
