What's everyone's opinion on West Kanto? I always found it weird how Gold and Silver are the only games not to give the player a new region to explore and they just decided to go with West Kanto instead.

The Spaceworld beta's world map was effectively the whole of Japan spread across an entire region. The region of Kanto was relegated to a single city.

I'm glad they decided to go with what they did in the end.
