When you checked into the Violet City center nearby, you sat waiting, turned away from the service desk while Furret was being treated. That was when you caught the first glimpse of her. Through the glass doors of the center, a dark, fuzzy coat and shining gold hair. Taken aback by her beauty, you gazed into the distance for some time, seemingly oblivious to the nurse asking for you. With your fluffy noodle on your back you make your way out to the ruins. The caverns themselves were odd. Those winding corridors, walls covered in symbols that seemed like letters, but did not read like language. You would hear noises behind you and see nothing when you turned around. There was this heavy feeling of unease, yet you were somewhat drawn further and further in. A feeling that would make itself clear as you rounded a corner and saw her.
She was scouring some old looking books as her finger traced the runes on the walls, her lips mouthing words you can't quite make out. You just watched, not wanting to interrupt whatever train of thought she was so deep in. She turns and spots you.
"Oh, i'm sorry, i didn't see you there. Can i help you?" She asks. You apologise for staring, slight embarrasment visible across your face. You ask what she's working on. She spends a few minutes spinning a tale about creation... and time... and a thousand arms? You didn't have the faintest clue what anything meant, but you couldn't help but listen. Her captivating voice had you hanging on to every word. Without warning, she stops. "Oh, how rude of me, I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Cynthia, and you are?" she inquired, reaching her hand out to you. You subtly wipe your hand on your pant leg before shaking hers. "A-Anon, nice to meet you, and uh, this is my Furret." you stutter slightly, as Furret bounces along your arm and up hers, nuzzling into her coat and neck.
