Okay, here's what I don't understand:

How does LGPE connect to the Bank? The Pokemon don't have abilities, will people be able transfer their easier to get shinies from LGPE to Gen 8 or Gen 7 or are they forever stuck in LGPE assuming Gen 8 brings back abilities? Is Bank connectivity even coming to LGPE?

Here's the funny part:
1. It doesn't connect to Bank (at least yet, will probably end up using the one-way PokeTransporter)
2. Pokemons DO in fact have their abilities coded, Including Melmetal, which has Iron Fist (which powers up its signature move) it's just this piece of shit game doesn't use them at all.

All the LGPE pokemon will probably have their Hidden Abilities when transported, probably as an incentive for later-in-life sales, but it doesn't really matter, since you can get HA Kanto mons from the VC games.

Interesting. I don't actually own LGPE so whether or not you can transfer out Pokemon doesn't bother me, but I'm just very curious as to what will happen to all these shinies people have been hunting

Abilities are all set to slot 1 actually. If they are set to hidden on import then they'll be the small incentive of master ball unnerve Mewtwo and easier HA HP grass and Ice Moltres and Zapdos.
