People keep saying Pokemon will die if it continues to go the Let's Go route, but what if it actually does? Even after what the franchise has become, I don't want it to be gone forever either.

It won't die if it goes down the Let's Go route, it'll die when they've exhausted Nostalgia, though with Pokemon they can probably last another decade with it. They've now moved to the switch and most likely the next gen Nintendo console after, their models are decent but are certainly lacking, and it's obvious they don't care about the product in interviews, at least Masuda doesn't.

It'll never go away forever. Not in the nostalgia driven world we live in.

Hell if Nintendo ever went Software-Exclusive like Sega did, Pokemon would probably become either a Mobile/PS4 exclusive.
