Knock Off would be broken since Megas and Z-Crystal holders are the only safe switch-ins against it.

Basically, the move would even more annoying than it already is.

Actually, unmega-ing would make all of them except rayquaza unviable. Maybe if they only lost their stones before transforming?

i'd only support that if they bring it back down to 20 BP, but i would support if stuff like Magic Room and Embargo prevented megas/zmoves though

No. You shouldn't be getting knocked off as something like Mega Alakazam or Gengar. If something is faster and hits you with knock off chances are you already lost the game, and these Pokemon would never switch into knock off to begin with.
Another example would probably be Mega Sharpedo
