Ehhhhh I dunno about that one. Good defenses, but shit HP and a terrible defensive typing, so it can't tank or wish pass very well. Good special attack, but it's slow, so it needs to survive hits to be useful. Then we're back to the HP/type problem.

Umbreon is moderately difficult to obtain without being a complete chore to evolve whereas the icy/mossy rock you need to be near to evolve to Glaceon and Leafeon are usually locked until postgame. And Glaceon has way more weaknesses than Umbreon. It's barely a wall.

I have never played past gen IV but my Glaceon in Gaia had insane stat growths. No good for anything serious of course, but Hail + Blizzard is fun in-game.
